I'm going to level with you... I don't know anything about music... or music theory. What I do know is I love the heck out of these headphones. These are pretty. They honestly look like a very expensive musical instrument. These things look like they should belong in a steampunk alternate reality.

I previously purchased the Klipsch Image One headphones (which are superior to these in ONLY one area--the iPhone/iPod in-line remote control) but wanted to try these out. I'm glad I did. First impression when you take these out of the box is "Luxe." The ear pads are lambskin and the wood is a beautiful, nice touch. Even the headband is padded with "Protein Leather" whatever that is. High end styling meets audiophile in these phones.

In my quest for a perfect set of headphones at the time, I scoured the established forums, read all the reviews, bought and sold several pairs of headphones before realizing that I wasn't, in fact, the prototypical "audiophile": someone obsessed more with the analyzing the quality of acoustic reproduction than the enjoyment of music.

This is a headphone i have always kept buying for years. It is durable and perfect for studio, because the artist i work with like to hear the bass make it seem like its live. I enjoying listening to music through this head phones and is comfortable.

This is a terrific turntable for the money. Excellent sound through stereo input. My best albums sound like they are digital recordings. Excellent frequency response. Digital recording was easy; follow the instructions. I downloaded songs as WAV files then converted them to MP3 on my computer. Files copied to CD and then played back on car or home stereo....absolutely fabulous.

Audio-Technica ATH-M35 Studio Headphones

Just got the ATH-M35 and tried them out on a mix of tracks - from rock to classical vocals and string and percussion instrumentals. Was equally at ease in each genre and as many other reviewers have pointed out, nowhere is there any artificial boosting of low or mid ranges!

At first I was worried about getting these. I've only had the giant cumbersome ones that cover your whole ears. They work well but they're uncomfortable for larger old man ears like mine. When I switched from watching movies on my tablet to watching TV on the airplane I had to turn it way down because airlines allow a much louder volume due to the noise for unaided regular earphones. The volume control comes in really handy when switching back and forth too. I even wore them when I wanted to nap for the noise reduction value.

AUDIO TECHNICA ATH-ANC27

I received these as a Christmas present after mentioning to my wife the deteriorating condition of my aging Bose QC2 headphones (flaking black ear-pads, broken folding mechanism had to be glued in the "open" position on both sides). While about 1/6 the cost of the QC2 when new and current model QC15, these are just as effective at cancelation of repetitive noise (aircraft engines, fans, AC systems, etc.). I use these primarily for travel and they perform just as well as the old QC2 for quieting noisy aircraft cabins. The ear cup area is a bit smaller but, for me at least, this makes for a better seal helping to isolate even more noise. The removable cable is also great for when I just want the noise isolation without music or video playback.

Yes, I am an Audiophile. However, let me make this part clear: I have never owned a record player before. I was born in 1981, and have used them before, but usually belonging to people who have no measure of interest in high fidelity. My background is with digital fidelity. So, understand that while my review will be beaming, I don't have much to compare it to when it comes to other LP players.

Just arrived today, and I quickly attached them to my Ipod. All I can say is I'm truly amazed at the clarity of sound. I just listened to Kurt Elling sing "After The Love is Gone, and I heard sounds never heard before. I'm not an audiophile, but I know what I like, and I like these headphones!

Everything I hoped they would be. After digging through mountains of reviews, I found this headset with the Turtle Beach 5.1 decoder on a fiber optic connection to be the way to go with Xbox gaming. Mic/headset combos will never be in my cart after hearing games through this combo. The soundstage is enveloping, bought this for MW3 and was able to pick up on the smallest nuances in targeting players. Anyone wondering about mic chat, just buy a $9 clip mic and your good to go.

It was very easy to hook up to my receiver - it's 2 plugs, how hard can it be ? The cables were not very long, so had to dig out the extension cables, other than that very simple.

Audio-Technica AT2020 USB Condenser USB Microphone

I've worked with the AT2020 mic for over a year now, and I love it. It sounds great, and it's so easy to use - just plug in the USB. I was afraid I would have problems using it with Vista, but it worked fine. Ok, so this mic is not a top of the line microphone, and this wouldn't work as well as other mics for professional musicians and the like. As is true most mics, you will probably want to do some post-production work. But, if you are podcasting, doing audio for e-learning, recording basic voice talent, etc., I challenge you to find a better mic in this price range. I did buy a spider mount to go with it, so keep that in mind reading this review.

Audio Technica AT2020 Side Address Cardiod Condensor Studio Mic

I purchased the Audio-Technica AT2020 to support webinars and voiceovers for short instructional videos I produce for my business. I also use it to support LiveChat sessions for online college courses that I teach. After using the inexpensive Logitech or Microsoft USB headset mics in the past, all I can say is the sound quality of this microphone BLOWS THEM AWAY. The difference was like switching from a 1920's victrola to the latest digitally mastered music. Gone are the drop-outs and tin-can voice sounds with heavy breathing in between. High-end users who regularly do studio work may find fault with some of the details of this microphone, but for novices like me, it's the cat's payamas.

Okay so I've never owned "real" headphones, and by that I mean the big ole cans that cover your ears. However, I've had my share of earbuds and have listened to many a "Beats by..." and others, and all I can say is wow.... For the price, you cannot go wrong with these. I just got them in the mail yesterday and I could not get them off my head. In fact, I almost fell asleep last night with them on! These are really comfortable! Oh, and they sound amazing too! Now, granted, if I had paid $1000 for these, then maybe my review would be a little different, but for less than $150, these are hands down, one of the best bang for your buck headphones out there.
